I have always wondered why the three wise men followed a particular star in the sky, and why it was labeled as a new star. I also wondered why John in Revelations 12 says he saw a woman standing on the moon in the sign from heaven. I stumbled across the answer after doing a little bit of homework and studying. Firstly, in Genesis 1, God created the sun, moon, and stars. To give light in the day, govern the night, and the stars for keeping time and for SIGNS for His sacred days.
Even though the three wise men were astrologers and not observers of the Mosaic Law, they were familiar with the Hebrew prophesy of a child being born from a virgin woman who would save all mankind from sin. Seeing the sacred signs for themselves, and remembering the prophesy, they went to see if it was true. Forming a new faith in their heart, they believed that they will find the new born child. After finding Him, They worshiped Him and acknowledged Him as the Son of God.

Even though most don't follow Zodiacs, we all know what our sign is from the month we were born in. For example, I am a Taurus, which is not in the night sky during my month, but behind the sun and we cannot see the constellation because of this. I came to a conclusion that Taurus is Dressed in the sun on my month. Then the light turned on in my head. I know that Aug. 28 to Sept 28, Virgo is behind (dressed in ) the sun. And then I looked up Virgo (also known as the Virgin) sign and constellation. The symbol really interested me. It was a letter M with a fish (ithcus) attached below it. In

There was a prophesy that Jesus was going to be a son of a carpenter, born from a virgin woman, and from the Tribe of Judah. The specific constellations around Virgo surprised me. It resembled the same vision John saw in Revelations 12. A woman dressed in the sun, crowned with 12 stars (Virgo is a 12 star constellation), Standing on the moon, a red seven headed serpent with 7 crowns ready to devour her new born, the baby being swept up to a throne, etc. I wasn't familiar with all of the constellations names and reason for the names so I looked them up. I also saw on that night of Jesus birth, the tail of Leo's (Judah) star, the planet Venus, and Jupiter aligned in a way that it formed a bright star in the view from earth. That explains the new star. It was also formed in front of the throne constellation, Coma.

The Woman and the Dragon
12 A great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet and a crown of twelve stars on her head. 2 She was pregnant and cried out in pain as she was about to give birth. 3 Then another sign appeared in heaven: an enormous red dragon with seven heads and ten horns and seven crowns on its heads. 4 Its tail swept a third of the stars out of the sky and flung them to the earth. ENOCH XXII: 8-9 :
And the Lord said to Michael: "Go and take Enoch from out of his earthly garments, and anoint him with my sweet ointment, and put him into the garments of My Glory."
And Michael did this, as the Lord told him. He anointed me, and dressed me and the appearance of that ointment is more than the great light, and His ointment is like sweet dew, and its smell mild, shining like the sun's ray, and I looked at myself, and was like the glorious ones.
